Message from Division A Governor - A New Beginning

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

Welcome to the term 2010-2011 with new leaders at the helm of the Clubs & Areas in Division A. Our Division now has 19 clubs span over 4 Areas in Johor & Melaka.

For this, I am deeply grateful to Immediate Past DivA ACS Cindy Wong & her team for bringing Division A to such great heights. It is a tough act to follow but one that is not impossible.

‘Nothing Great Was Ever Achieved Without Enthusiasm’ – Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882). It is with this in mind that I have come out with our Division A Theme ‘Harnessing Enthusiasm’.

Let our enthusiasms drive our passion in Toastmasters take us on the road to Excellence & Success. We join Toastmasters to improve our communication skills. Along the way, we find ourselves becoming better leaders. There are no teachers or classroom learning. We learn by doing and sharing. Sometimes to move forward, we have to unlearn & learn new skills.

I am an advocate on the power of T.E.A.M (Together Everyone Achieves More) and believe that WE can achieve new milestones during the term.
