This is the game during the Area A2 Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contests last 27th of September, before the winners' announcement. Yes, now, all areas in Division A have their winners for Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contests for 2014/2015!

Ops..! Just kidding... It is the contests season!!!

Area A3 and Area A4 had their Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest  last Saturday, 13th of September 2014 in Menara Aqabah, Majlis Perbandaran Pasir Gudang, Johor.

For UTM ACES Toastmaster Club, the contests was held on 6th September 2014 in UTM Johor Bahru.

While UTM Toastmasters Club Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests was held on 11th of September 2014, also in UTM Johor Bahru.

 

The President of UTM ACES Toastmasters Club,Yong Bang Xiang was the test speaker for the Evaluation Contest of UTM Toastmasters Club.

The best thing about contests season for me is... other than champions are made.. is the cooperation between clubs to help each other. It is sooooo swweeeeett....!!! People call it as Toastmaster-ship, I see it as friendship :)

 

For example, UTM ACES Toastmasters Club, JB Toastmasters Club, JB City Toastmasters Club, & Johor Jaya Toastmasters club members during UTM Toastmasters Club contests.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are counting days for two more areas. Area A1 & Area A2.

JB Can Talk - 6th Sept & 20th Sept 2014

During the JB Art Festival, Toastmasters in Division A has two sessions. The first session on 6th of September was held and I was so happy to be there!

 There were 4 interesting games. Other than Table Topics session like Toastmasters usually have during our clubs chapter meetings, we have 3 more games to add some more fun while speaking in public, in DATARAN BANDARAYA JOHOR BAHRU!

Making impromptu conversation. One sentence for each person. But, not a statement, it must be always a question! Challenging and fun!

The other team, acting as a Malay mother with an Indian son and a Chinese daughter. Here is part of the conversation by this team.

"Where is your father?"

"Why you don't know where is our father?"

"Do you have our father's picture?"

"What is picture?"

Hahahaha.....

Yeah, it was funny!

 The other team with situation ; in a mental hospital. From left, the patient, the doctor, the sexy nurse (OMG!) and the patient who was only care about his painting...

 

Some of the guests were enjoying the session and also participating!

 

Ops..!! Now we know that during JB Can Talk, our photographer also went sightseeing...!!! He was attracted to a group of ladies in beautiful costumes! They were preparing for their dance performance. It is JB Art Festival! (http://jbartsfest.com)

Tadaaaaa....!!!! The photographer was our Immediate Past Division A Governor, DTM Go Hwi Kueh! Mr. Go, thank you the photos! :)
